Purpose

Players get better at doing tight turns at full speed.

Setup

  • Player starts in a corner of the rink.

How it Works

  1. On “Go”, player skates around the outside of the ice completing a circle around each dot as he goes.
  2. Complete 1-2 reps.

Coaching Tips

  • Really stress the importance of tight turns as the players are going around a dot as well as heading to the next one.
