Game Situation Drills

Three-On-One Drill
Three offensive players try to work together to beat one defender in this drill. In a 3-on-1 situation, the defender should stay in the middle if the puck is in the middle. If the puck is not in the middle the defender should slightly favor the puck carrier’s side of the ice.

3 Goalie Drill
Players practice one-touch passing in this fundamental drill. Players need to have “soft hands” otherwise the puck will shoot off their stick too quickly and won’t be accurate.
